The Annual CALM Celebrity Authors’ Luncheon is always a lovely event to support a great cause.<\/p>\n

On March 16, more than 600 book lovers will gather for a day of appearances and book signings from a variety of authors, both big-name and local, with all proceeds going to benefit the good work of Child Abuse Listening Mediation (<\/span>CALM)<\/a> and\u00a0raise awareness and funds for its programs and services to prevent and treat child abuse and to promote healing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Headline authors will be interviewed at the event, including Mindy Johnson<\/a> (Ink & Paint \u2013 The Women of Walt Disney\u2019s Animation<\/em><\/a>), Luis Alberto Urrea<\/a> (The Hummingbird’s Daughter,<\/a> The House of Broken Angels<\/em>), and Kate Quinn<\/a> (The Alice Network<\/a>, The Huntress<\/em>).<\/p>\n

There will also be book signings and the opportunity to meet dozens of local authors:<\/p>\n
