A spirited toast to all things alcoholic! by\u00a0Leslie Dinaberg<\/a><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

Guests at the\u00a034th annual\u00a0Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF)<\/a>\u2014which runs from Wednesday, January 30 through Saturday, February 9 in downtown Santa Barbara\u2014will get an extra warm welcome from our local winemakers.<\/p>\n

Santa Barbara Vintners Foundation<\/a> is sponsoring the festival and providing wine\u00a0at nightly Filmmaker\u2019s Happy Hours and post tribute Studio Parties from member wineries, including Au Bon Climat<\/a>, Brander Vineyard<\/a>, Brewer-Clifton<\/a>, Brick Barn Wine Estate<\/a>, Cambria Estate Vineyards<\/a>, Folded Hills,<\/a> Hitching Post Wines<\/a>, Mail Road Wines<\/a>, Margerum Wine Company<\/a>, Nielson Winery,<\/a>\u00a0Pence Vineyards & Winery<\/a> and Temperance Cellars<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the second year the Vintners Foundation has sponsored SBIFF and we are proud to continue our support for this showcase for filmmaking and the community education programs that SBIFF organizes throughout the year for local students,\u201d says Katy Rogers, president of Santa Barbara Vintners Foundation, the charitable umbrella under which Santa Barbara Vintners<\/a> conducts its philanthropic work.<\/p>\n

At the Opening Night Gala on Wednesday, January 30 in Paseo Nuevo, the wines of Brewer-Clifton, Cambria Estate Vineyards and Nielson will be served. \u00a0The Gala follows a showing of the film Diving Deep: The Life and Times of Mike DeGruy<\/em><\/a> at the Arlington Theatre<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Belvedere Vodka<\/a> will also be on hand as the sole liquor sponsor of the 34th annual festival, serving signature cocktails like the Belvedere Classic Martini<\/a> and Belvedere Expresso Martini<\/a>, among others. Belvedere is the official sponsor of the Cinema Vanguard Award<\/a> honoring Michael B. Jordan<\/a> on February 7, where the brand\u2014named “Vodka Producer of the Year” three times in a row by the International Spirits Challenge<\/a>\u2014will spotlight its “Beautiful to see. Beautiful to experience.” campaign.<\/p>\n
