I<span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">nspired by the classic dry ros\u00e9s of the Rh\u00f4ne Valley, this lovely wine was a\u00a0<\/span>2018 Silver Winner\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">in the <em>San Francisco Chronicle<\/em> International Wine Competition. For the best experience, visit their recently opened estate vineyard, located on a historic 1,100-acre ranch in Buellton (795 W. Dry and refreshing, this is a consistent go-to wine for me.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"c0134\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dolinestate.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dolin Malibu Estate Vineyards 2015 Ros<span class=\"s2\">\u00e9<\/span> of Pinot Noir<\/a> uses\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, Oxygen-Sans, Ubuntu, Cantarell, 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif;\">grapes from three prominent Central Coast vineyards to create this refreshing Ros<span class=\"s2\">\u00e9<\/span>, which offers up enticing aromas of berries and melon followed by a crisp, fruity finish.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s2\"><a href=\"http:\/\/herzogwine.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Herzog Lineage Ros\u00e9 2017<\/a>\u00a0blends 12 grape varieties from the Herzog\u2019s family\u2019s Prince Vineyard in California. Their Oxnard-based facility prides itself on keeping Kosher, without any negative impacts on the taste of the wine, which features aromas and flavors of ripe strawberries, papaya, and pomegranate seeds. With a very clean and fresh flavor, the wine pairs particularly well with Mediterranean cuisine.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s2\">Another excellent Kosher ros\u00e9 is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kosherwine.com\/adama-barbera-rose-2016.html\">Tabor Adama Barbera Ros\u00e9 2017<\/a>, which\u00a0is characterized by red berry and cherry aromas and high acidity. Israeli producer Tabor showcases these attributes in a flavorful, light-bodied wine with a nice balance between the fruity notes and the acidity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The 2017 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.domaines-ott.com\/en\/the-wines\/by-ott\/rose\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BY.OTT Cotes de Provence Ros<span class=\"s2\">\u00e9<\/span><\/a> is an elegant yet friendly French bottle with a pale,\u00a0 pretty color and a delicate and fruity nose and taste that&#8217;s perfect for toasting a happy couple at a price point that won&#8217;t break the bank.<\/p>\n<p>Sparkling ros<span class=\"s2\">\u00e9<\/span>s are also terrific for toasts, and have become quite popular of late.\u00a0<span class=\"s1\">Santa Margherita\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/santamargheritawines.com\/our-wines\/prosecco-superiore\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s2\">Prosecco Superiore DOCG<\/span><\/a>\u00a0is a perfect choice for\u00a0your next summer party. The fruity flavor and aromas of peaches and flowers pair well with seafood, cheese appetizers and dessert. And bubbles always add a festive touch.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p8\"><span class=\"s2\">There are two main ways to produce ros\u00e9 wine, and in both cases they\u2019re made from grapes with dark skin,\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">explains Gabriel Geller, Vice President of Public Relations for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.royalwine.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Royal Wine Corp.<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">The first method is known as maceration. After the red or black grapes are pressed, the skins macerate in the juice for anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, until the desired color is released.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\">The second method is called <em>saign\u00e9e<\/em>, which is French for \u201cbleeding.\u201d The red or black grape skins are pressed with the skins, producing a slightly pink-colored juice. This juice is fermented into wine that will become a ros\u00e9. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p7\"><span class=\"s2\">Whether you prefer your ros\u00e9s fruity, slightly sweet, or very dry\u2014they&#8217;ll pair beautifully both beachside or poolside.
