Looking for something different and fun to do on a Sunday afternoon. Starting this week (June 17),\u00a0<\/span>Santa Barbara Wine Collective<\/a>\u00a0launches Sundown Sundays for summer. Relax with a glass of one of the member wineries\u2019 vintages on the Santa Barbara Wine Collective patio,\u00a0located on the Urban Wine Trail of Santa Barbara\u2019s Funk Zone at 131 Anacapa St., Suite C.<\/span><\/p>\n

Listen to the live music sounds of Cheyenne Skye<\/span><\/a> on Sunday, June 17, from 3-6 p.m. “<\/span>Cheyenne Skye sings from the heart and writes timeless songs with an equal touch of emotion and humor along with her love for nature. She projects a combination of folk and soul, almost as if Patsy Cline, Nina Simone, Janis Joplin, Jim Croce all had a baby together. An original member of the group Rainbow Girls, Skye has toured the Western United States and the UK\/Europe, and has shared stages with California Honeydrops, Nicki Bluhm and the Gamblers, ALO, Brothers Comatose, Marty O\u2019Reilly and the Old Soul Orchestra, John Craigie, Handmade Moments, Groove Session, Whiskerman and many more.”<\/span><\/p>\n

DJ BarginBin (Jack\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/span>Carmean)<\/a><\/span> performs on\u00a0Sunday, June 24\u00a0<\/span><\/span>and Sunday, July 1. “<\/span>DJ BargainBin is a classic, all-vinyl DJ from California’s central coast.\u00a0Spinning multiple flavors of pop, rock, soul & schlock, since the mid-2000s, guesting at Sailing (at the Attic) and Horizons (at the Makeout Room) and hosting a monthly feature, Kodachrome at St. Mary’s Pub.\u00a0Since relocating to the Central Coast, he’s been spinning the funk at Soul Service (@ the Mercury Lounge) and lounge grooves at Hi! Jinx! (@ the Imperial). In between the regular gigs, sometimes it’s powerpop, sometimes it’s smooth rock, sometimes New Wave, but it’s always classic vinyl\u00a0and it’s always gonna get you on your feet!”<\/span><\/p>\n

Persian Housecat<\/a> performs July 8 & July 22\u00a0<\/span>and Valdas Karalis (July 29). Helena Avenue Bakery <\/a><\/span>Cheese Plates and <\/span>Baguettes\u00a0are available for purchase to enjoy with wines by the glass or bottle from Santa Barbara County member wineries\u00a0Babcock Winery<\/a>, Ca\u2019 Del Grevino<\/a>, Fess Parker Winery<\/a>, Notary Public Wine<\/a>, and The Paring & The Hilt<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Admission is free to the public and reservations are not required. The Santa Barbara Wine Collective patio is pet-friendly. Musical talent performs from 3-6 p.m.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
