Photo by Monica Wiesblott.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cOriginally, I was just enthralled with the medium of gouache,\u201d says Strasburg, who saw the potential through the work of artist <a href=\"https:\/\/thomaspaquette.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Thomas Paquette<\/a>, who had a wilderness-themed show at the Wildling and also has some paintings in <em>The River\u2019s Journey<\/em>.
