My son started keeping a reading list in third grade, so I did too. This is the 11th\u00a0year we\u2019ve done this.<\/p>\n

My favorite books of 2017 were probably The Mothers<\/a><\/em>, by Britt Bennett; Americanah<\/em><\/a>, by\u00a0Chimamanda\u00a0Ngozi Adichie; Commonwealth<\/em><\/a> by Ann Patchett; Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine<\/em><\/a> by Gail Honeyman; The Hypnotist’s Love Story<\/em><\/a> by Liane Moriarty and Interpreter of Maladies<\/em><\/a> by Jhumpa Lahiri.<\/p>\n
