Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to go back in time with the Happy Together Tour, featuring\u00a0an impressive collection of top recording artists from the 1960s.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Turtles\u2019 Flo & Eddie, The Association, The Cowsills, Chuck Negron, The Box Tops and Ron Dante return together to the Chumash Casino Resort\u2019s Samala Showroom at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 14.\u00a0<\/span>With 53 top Billboard hits among these six headliners, this should be fun trip down memory lane.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Turtles<\/a> scored their first Top 10 hit with the Bob Dylan cover \u201cIt Ain\u2019t Me Babe\u201d in 1965. They would reach the top of the charts in 1967 with \u201cHappy Together,\u201d which would become their best-known hit.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Association<\/a> had numerous top hits including \u201cWindy,\u201d \u201cCherish,\u201d \u201cNever My Love\u201d and \u201cAlong Comes Mary.\u201d They are noted for their intricate vocal harmonies by the band\u2019s multiple singers.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Cowsills<\/a>, a family affair that inspired the TV series The Partridge Family<\/em><\/a>, will sing hits \u201cThe Rain, the Park and the Other Things,\u201d \u201cHair,\u201d \u201cIndian Lake\u201d and \u201cWe Can Fly.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Chuck Negron, a former member of American rock band Three Dog Night<\/a>, is sure to perform a few of the band\u2019s top hits including \u201cOne,\u201d \u201cEasy to Be Hard,\u201d \u201cPieces of April,\u201d \u201cJust an Old Fashioned Love Song\u201d and \u201cThe Show Must Go On.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The Box Tops<\/a> are best known for their hits \u201cThe Letter,\u201d \u201cCry Like a Baby\u201d and \u201cSoul Deep.\u201d Their unique sound combines elements of both soul music and light pop.<\/span><\/p>\n

American singer, songwriter and producer Ron Dante is best known as the lead singer of the fictional cartoon band The Archies<\/a>. The band delivered top hits \u201cSugar, Sugar,\u201d \u201cJingle Jangle,\u201d \u201cBang-Shang-A-Lang\u201d and \u201cWho\u2019s Your Baby.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
