By <a href=\"http:\/\/sbseasons.com\/cocktail-corner\/\" target=\"_blank\">Leslie Dinaberg\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cheers to our friends at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.figmtnbrew.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company<\/a>, which, in just six short years, has grown from a small production facility and taproom in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofbuellton.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Buellton<\/a> to a six-taproom, four-brewery operation with distribution throughout California, Arizona and soon expanding to additional states.<\/p>\n<p>Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company is the fastest growing craft brewery on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inc.com\/inc5000\" target=\"_blank\">Inc. 5000 list<\/a>, and\u00a0also recently joined the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pacbiztimes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Pacific Coast Business Times<\/em><\/a>\u2019 50 Fastest Growing Companies list for California\u2019s Central Coast.<\/p>\n<p>Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company was founded by in 2010 father and son team, Jim and Jaime Dietenhofer. With a passion for craft beer, they set out to pay homage to the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley with handcrafted beer and hand-drawn artwork depicting the local landscape on their labels.\u00a0 There are currently six taprooms along the Central Coast of California.<\/p>\n<p>Excited about the future, the fig team is going BIG\u00a0for its annual celebration, with a 6th Anniversary Party on Saturday, November 26 from 1-9:30 p.m.\u00a0at the Buellton taproom (45 Industrial Way, Buellton).<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_31726\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-31726\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-31726\" src=\"http:\/\/sbseasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/IMG_6036.jpg\" alt=\"Courtesy Figueroa Mountain Brew Co.\" width=\"700\" height=\"467\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-31726\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Courtesy Figueroa Mountain Brew Co.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Admission is free and guests can take advantage of the 6th Anniversary bottle release a day before it goes on sale at the other five taprooms and in select local retailers.\u00a0 Enjoy contests, food for purchase, special mini-events and live music at their flagship brewery and beer garden.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, this year\u2019s special bottle release is\u00a0Figueroa Mountain\u2019s 6th Anniversary Grand Cru Ale aged in apple-pear brandy, grape brandy and whiskey barrels and sold in 22-ounce bottles.\u00a0 \u00a0Special holiday gift-packs will also be available with two 6th Anniversary bottles and a 6th Anniversary t-shirt.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m always excited about our Anniversary beer releases and this year is no exception,\u201d says President Jaime Dietenhofer.\u00a0 \u201cDespite the 14% ABV (alcohol-by-volume) of this barrel-aged Grand Cru Ale, it has a smooth taste and a complex flavor profile.\u00a0 We discovered a long list of flavors including notes of marshmallow, vanilla, whiskey, almonds, honey, pears, figs and gentle toasted oak.\u00a0 It\u2019s one of those beers you reward yourself with or bring to a holiday celebration to share.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the food items for sale in the beer garden from Figueroa Mountain\u2019s new Buellton taproom restaurant, there will be several special offerings throughout the day.\u00a0 Unlimited cask tastings will be sold for $10 per wristband with four\u00a0cask releases throughout the day.\u00a0 Wristband holders will also be eligible to win prizes such as a private beer pairing dinner for 10 with Chef Brian Champlin.<\/p>\n<p>Also available for serious beer aficionados is the\u00a06th Anniversary Barrel Tasting &amp; Pairing held in the upstairs mezzanine from 3-5 p.m.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_21407\" style=\"width: 543px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-21407\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-21407\" src=\"http:\/\/sbseasons.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/photo-18-e1385512376658.jpg\" alt=\"Taster of Figueroa Mountain beers (L-R): Ginger Red, Hurricane Deck Double Indian Pale Ale, Stagecoach Stout, and Irish Stout\" width=\"533\" height=\"400\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-21407\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Taster of Figueroa Mountain beers (L-R): Ginger Red, Hurricane Deck Double Indian Pale Ale, Stagecoach Stout, and Irish Stout<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cOur brewers will walk guests through a flight of four versions of the 6th Anniversary Grand Cru Ale,\u201d explains Head Brewer of Buellton, David Traille.\u00a0 \u201cWe\u2019ll have samples of each barrel followed by the final blend for comparison.\u201d\u00a0 Each taste will include a small bite of food that pairs with that particular sample.\u00a0 For $75 per ticket, guests will also receive a 6th Anniversary t-shirt and a 22-ounce bottle to take home with them.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets can be purchased at <a href=\"http:\/\/fig6th.nightout.com\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/fig6th.nightout.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Cheers!
