The Granada Theatre Film Series<\/a><\/span>\u00a0presents\u00a0\u201cMOVIES THAT MATTER\u201d with Hal Conklin<\/a>, a film programming series of iconic movies that touch the soul and draw out the best in humanity.<\/p>\n

On\u00a0Monday, February 2\u00a0at 7 p.m<\/span>, the second film in the series,\u00a0ANTWONE FISHER<\/a>,\u00a0will screen on state-of-the-art\u00a04K digital cinema,\u00a0and will include special guest from the\u00a0Martin Luther King Committee of Santa Barbara\u00a0for a discussion and Q&A \u00a0following the film.<\/p>\n

Antwone Fisher\u00a0<\/i>is the story of a young navy man who is forced to see a psychiatrist after a violent outburst against a fellow crewman. During the course of treatment, a painful past is revealed and a new hope begins.<\/p>\n
