Cabrillo Blvd., <span style=\"color: #482910;\">800\/879-2929<\/span>), where\u00a0<a title=\"executive chef Kirk DeLong\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rodneyssteakhouse.com\/rodneys_menu.html\" target=\"_blank\">executive chef Kirk DeLong<\/a> believes nothing tastes quite like an ice-cold hand crafted beer to quench summertime thirst.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p7\">With that in mind, DeLong promises to take\u00a0beer to a whole new level with the resort\u2019s \u00a0first ever Beer Pairing Dinner complementing a four-course tasting menu with hand crafted beers from Orange County\u2019s <a title=\"The Bruery\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thebruery.com\/index2\" target=\"_blank\">The Bruery<\/a>. \u00a0The festivities take place July 26 at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p7\"><a title=\"The Bruery CEO Patrick Rue\" href=\"http:\/\/thebruery.com\/about\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Bruery\u00a0CEO Patrick Rue<\/a>, who founded the company six years ago, will be on hand to give\u00a0a brief overview about the\u00a0signature beer\u00a0pairings.\u00a0The Bruery is a boutique craft brewery specializing in barrel-aged and experimental ales.\u00a0 Founded as a small, friend and family run business in 2008, The Bruery takes its unique moniker from Rue\u2019s family surname.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_31264\" style=\"width: 510px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-31264\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-31264\" alt=\"Rodney's Grill, courtesy Fess Parker a Doubletree by Hilton Resort\" src=\"http:\/\/sbseasons.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Rodneys-Grill-high-res-Image7FINAL-704x467.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"332\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-31264\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Rodney&#8217;s Grill, courtesy Fess Parker a Doubletree by Hilton Resort<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"p7\">Chef DeLong will share highlights from his inspired\u00a0American dishes and the fresh regional produce and ingredients which complement the beers being poured.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">The menu, which sounds amazing,\u00a0includes:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\">Sea scallop, habanero-red pepper gazpacho, and kiwi-dragon fruit chutney\u00a0paired with Trade Winds Tripel<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\">Hoisin duck breast, pomegranate risotto, rainbow Swiss chard, and port jus\u00a0paired with Saison Rue<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\">Sea bass, heirloom tomato, tempura beech mushroom, and saffron-fennel broth\u00a0paired with Mischief<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6\">Hawaiian sweet bread pudding, and <a title=\"Rori\u2019s Creamery Teams up with The Howard School to Create New Flavors\" href=\"http:\/\/sbseasons.com\/blog\/creamery-howard-flavors\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rori\u2019s Artisanal Creamery<\/a> vanilla bean ice cream,\u00a0paired with Sucre<\/p>\n<p class=\"p7\">This dinner isn&#8217;t the first collaboration between the Parker and Bruery brands. \u201cThe Fess Parker family have a long time tradition in the wine and hospitality business in Santa Barbara County, and are delighted to be working collaboratively with the family-owned business The Bruery.\u00a0 The two have worked collaboratively on the release of \u00a0&#8216;Confession,&#8217;
