\"The<\/a>So many books, so little time\u2014part six.<\/p>\n

My son started keeping a reading list in third grade, so I did too. This is the sixth year we\u2019ve done this.<\/p>\n

My favorite book of 2012 was probably T<\/em><\/a>he Night Circus<\/a>\u00a0<\/i>by Erin Morgenstern. It will make a gorgeous movie if the right director get ahold of it.<\/p>\n

I also loved The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake<\/em><\/a> by Aimee Bender, and Wonder<\/em><\/a>, a young adult book by R.J. Palacio.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve also been trying to read chick lit, and chicklet lit (young adult) more regularly because I\u2019m hoping to take a stab at that genre myself when I have a little more time. I\u2019m thinking this might help explain why there are so few male authors on my list.<\/p>\n
