The cooperative marketing efforts by six businesses within walking distance of each other\u2009\u200b\u2014\u2009\u200ball located on the 1200 and 1300 blocks of State Street\u2009\u200b\u2014\u2009\u200bis quickly making an impact.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can park once and shop easily,\u201d said Michelle Beamer, owner of Lonetree. \u201cThe community is very supportive. We\u2019re always talking each other up. Stephanie Payne-Campbell at Domec\u00edl sends people over here all the time. We\u2019re really reaching out to designers too, and they\u2019re sending people over. Even people from out of town. We\u2019ve given maps to people from hotels and things like that, too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This appealingly illustrated map (by graphic designer Irene Ramirez;<a href=\"http:\/\/orangeladybird.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> orangeladybird.com<\/a>) guides shoppers to visit:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Domec\u00edl:<\/strong>\u00a0 This shop showcases items for the home that highlight both traditional and contemporary craft, including fiber arts, ceramics, woodwork, fine art, and original bespoke, small-batch clothing.
