A new line of luxury accessories\u00a0by designer Joel\u00a0Chauran<\/a> melds his years as\u00a0a professional horse trainer\u00a0with his longtime career as\u00a0a home furnishings product developer for\u00a0brands such as Pottery Barn<\/a>, Pier 1<\/a>, Target<\/a>,\u00a0Neiman Marcus<\/a>, and Williams Sonoma<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In addition to horse-inspired bags, jewelry,\u00a0and accessories, Urban-Equestrian<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0line of feather pillows embraces the sturdy\u00a0yet elegant materials of contemporary riders.\u00a0Coronado suede, Coronado cowhide,\u00a0and Adagio cowhide leather pillows are
\navailable in a variety of colors, shapes, and\u00a0styles, all of which are designed to work
\ntogether with an emphasis on both style\u00a0and comfort.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like to layer pillows together,\u201d said\u00a0Chauran, working from his studio in\u00a0the hills near the Santa Barbara Bowl<\/a>.\u00a0\u201cRefreshing your pillows and even rearranging\u00a0the ones that you have really is a\u00a0quick fix to give new life to an old room.\u00a0I\u2019m always thinking about how I could put\u00a0this one together with that one; I always\u00a0have different combinations in my head\u00a0when I\u2019m designing.<\/p>\n

Though he designs all sorts\u00a0of items, textiles are particularly\u00a0dear to his heart. \u201cI\u2019m just\u00a0drawn to all of the different\u00a0techniques that you can do with\u00a0fabric to customize things, and\u00a0so it becomes this playground\u00a0of different embroideries and\u00a0different stitches and different\u00a0folding and ruching and whatnot,\u201d\u00a0said Chauran. \u201cI just can\u2019t\u00a0seem to get enough of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
