Whisk your mother off to\u00a0the charming secret garden of\u00a0Enchante Cottage Spa<\/strong> in\u00a0Solvang. This sweet white\u00a0cottage was converted into a\u00a0mini-day spa where guests are\u00a0greeted with tea and homemade\u00a0scones before being\u00a0pampered with pedicures,\u00a0deep tissue or hot stone massages and\u00a0other princess-like treats. Owner\u00a0Deborah Paxton also serves a delicious\u00a0lunch with advance reservations.<\/p>\n

Why send flowers when you can\u00a0treat mom to a \u201cFirst Bloom\u201d tour of Rose Story Farm<\/strong> in Carpinteria?\u00a0Owners Danielle and Bill\u00a0Hahn have 18,000 stunning\u00a0rose plants in 150 different\u00a0varieties. Don\u2019t miss the White\u00a0Tranquility Garden with more\u00a0than 1,000 white roses grown\u00a0together with white companion\u00a0plants. Call in advance to\u00a0make reservations for tours,\u00a0which take place every\u00a0Wednesday and Saturday.<\/p>\n

The roses are also in bloom at the\u00a0A.C. Postel Memorial Rose Garden<\/strong>.\u00a0Just across the street from Mission\u00a0Santa Barbara, this is a great spot to\u00a0toss a frisbee, have a picnic or just\u00a0relax with mom on her special day.<\/p>\n

Treat your mom like the Queen\u00a0Mum with high tea at the ocean-view\u00a0Bella Vista at Four Seasons Biltmore\u00a0Resort<\/strong>.
