Recently introduced by Goleta Red Distillery (goletared.com<\/a>), La Patera Lemon Flavored Vodka is made from\u00a0100 percent cane sugar and flavored with organic local\u00a0lemons. Owner Michael\u00a0Craig, a history buff, points\u00a0to the citrus fruit\u2019s longstanding\u00a0presence in the\u00a0area.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Stowe family\u00a0were pioneers, some of\u00a0the first people to grow\u00a0lemons commercially in\u00a0California,\u201d says Craig, \u201cand\u00a0their property [Rancho La\u00a0Patera and the Stow House,\u00a0circa 1873, now stewarded\u00a0by Goleta Valley Historical\u00a0Society<\/a>] is literally a mile from the distillery.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mony\u2019s (monyssb.com<\/a>), a buzzy Funk Zone taqueria\u00a0where there are often long lines out the door, is now\u00a0making its burritos available at other locations, too. Look\u00a0for them in Santa Barbara under\u00a0the Mamacita\u2019s brand at the Santa\u00a0Barbara Roasting Company<\/a> cafe,\u00a0and the Dart Coffee Co.<\/a> shop,\u00a0where co- owner Erika Carter\u00a0says, \u201cWe sell out every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe wanted to offer\u00a0consumers a made-fresh-daily\u00a0breakfast option that was as\u00a0accessible as their must-have\u00a0morning coffees,\u201d says Carlos\u00a0Diaz, who runs the catering end\u00a0of the family business. \u201cCulturally, the name Mamacita\u00a0can be translated into \u2018little mama,\u2019 which in this case is\u00a0an endearing way to honor my mother and the creator of\u00a0Mony\u2019s, Mama Mony.\u201d<\/p>\n

When it comes to comfort food, there\u2019s nothing quite\u00a0like a bowl of pasta. Michael Glazer of Santa Barbara\u2019s\u00a0Mission Rose Pasta Company (missionrosepasta.com<\/a>)\u00a0has been making fresh, handmade noodles in various\u00a0restaurants and pop-ups since 1998. Now he and his\u00a0wife, Val, have made their first packaged goods available\u00a0with about eight rotating pasta products as well as\u00a0creams, butters, and sauces.<\/p>\n
